North Queensferry Light Tower receives design award

  • North Queensferry's Light Tower has been recognised a tthe Scottish Civic Trust My Place awards
The North Queensferry Light Tower has been presented with a certificate at a prestigious building design award ceremony in Glasgow.

The Scottish Civic Trust (SCT) My Place Awards are aimed at rewarding design that benefits communities and are nominated by people who use the buildings.

The awards were presented at the Lighthouse in Glasgow by Culture Minister Fiona Hyslop.

Certificates were also awarded to Infirmary Street Baths, Edinburgh; The Cause, Edinburgh and the Hippodrome Cinema, Bo'ness.

"That benefits communities and are nominated by people who use them" - Total rubbish - I've never seen anyone near the lighthouse since £70,000 was wasted on the building - money that could of been used elsewhere!!
