North Queensferry buildings welcome visitors for Doors Open Day
6 SeptemberThere’s a chance to look behind the doors some of North Queensferry and Fife’s most iconic and interesting buildings as part of the annual Doors Open Day event, which is being held across Scotland during September.
There will be guided tours of North Queensferry on Sunday 18th September from 1.30pm onwards. Starting at the harbour light tower, now fully restored, the tour takes you around the historic village including access to St James's chapel ground and concludes at the Albert Hotel, where there is an information display on the light tower and the 'genius' of the Stevenson family in designing 96 other lighthouses in Scotland. Boat trips are available from the pier throughout the afternoon. Guided tour fact sheets supplied. Refreshments at Albert Hotel.
Properties across Fife, and across Scotland will be taking part in the Doors Open Days events over several weekends in September.
