North Queensferry Boat and Harbour Festival
North Queensferry Boat club are hosting their second Boat and Harbour Festival on Sunday 28 August.
A great family day out with something for all the family to see and do. Go aboard the traditional 110 year old Herring Drifter "Reaper". Cheer on the Skiff representing North Queensferry in the first race across the Forth from South Queensferry in over 50 years.
On land you can browse in the craft marquee whilst the kids enjoy all the fun of the fair, roundabouts,swingboats, bouncy castle and water balls. Visit the craft demonstrations from the Traditional Rocking Horse Maker/Restorer, basket weaving, have a go at the Gal Gael hand wood carving, visit the traction Steam engine as it builds up enough power to play the old fairground organ. For traditionalists there shall be the pipes and drums of Inverkeithing Pipe Band playing throughout the day.
The music and song shall start with the children from North Queensferry Primary school signing songs from the sea. followed by local artists and supported on the PA by the West Fife Rotatry Club's Jack Pryde.
When it's time to rest then visit the boat club cafe or enjoy one of Iain Spink's famous Arbroath Smokies.
North Queensferry Boat Club are proud to be supporting their adopted Charity Maggie's Cancer Care at the festival

Car Parking in Deep Sea Worlds overflow car park with a regular free shuttle bus to and from the festival. Blue Badge car parking at the festival for up to 12 cars.
