Land’s End to John O’Groats

For years, folks have been telling me to go take a hike, so I’ve decided to take the hint. I will be walking - all being well - from Lands End to John O’Groats, starting on the 1st of September
I’m raising money for two charities:
* www.operationsmile.org.uk/   A charity that repairs children’s cleft lips, & palates.  
* www.prospects.org.uk/   A charity for folks with learning disabilities.

Hi Folks 

I’m heading down, tomorrow - from Edinburgh - on the National Express “overnight and half the day” coach to Plymouth. Then I’ll catch the train to Penzance, and a taxi or bus, to Land’s End.  I’ll check in, and then probably walk to, or beyond, Penzance, before getting a B&B for my first night.

I’ve now set up a “blog,” so please “interact positively.” I’ll probably need the encouragement! – I’ll also post my mobile phone number, in a bit.

How often I can “drivel-on” will depend on my internet access, and my mastering my blackberry, whilst suffering from a fairly bad case of “big-finger syndrome.”
