Dare to slide for MS in North Queensferry
8 Mar 2010TTo mark the end of MS Revive's 25th anniversary year, supporters are planning a daredevil zip slide over the Black Lagoon at North Queensferry on Saturday 27th March.
Household names including Ford Kiernan and actors Kathleen McDermott and Gary Lewis are planning to throw themselves from a great height at North Queensferry to raise money for MS Revive.
They will zip slide from the base of the Forth rail bridge across the Black Lagoon at Deep Sea World in North Queensferry - and you can join in to help the charity too - if you dare!
McDermott says: "I've never done a zip slide before. I hope they've got brakes. In my job I've had to jump off things, so I think I'll be alright. So many people are affected by MS. The work the centre does is fantastic. It's a local charity and it relies almost solely on what people donate."
If you dare to get involved, or would like to donate, call 0141 945 3344 or visit www.revivescotland.org.uk.
