Cash boost for carbon reduction project in North Queensferry
10 MayNorth Queensferry has received a major boost for a green project, with the award of £77,563 by the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) to the Carbon Reduction Project in the town.
The money will go to help reduce carbon output in the village by 51.25 tonnes, and was one of 90 new projects to receive funding from the CCF's latest round of grants.
Two part-time advisors and one full time project co-ordinator at North Queensferry Community centre will be funded by the cash, and will survey homes in the town, and provide information and help to access grants to make homes greener.
The project in North Queensferry currently has a mailing list of 30 - and welcomes new members - to join email Andrew Jones at aj.dreamer@virgin.net
