Animal Magic: let's find North Queensferry's premier pet

Pets are part of the community too - so why not show how big a part they play in our lives by posting their pics here on s1northqueensferry?
We're looking for the funniest, cutest or quirkiest pictures of our furry and feathered friends.
Whether your pet's a daft dog, a cutesy cat, a bonkers budgie or even a charming chimpanzee, we want to see them.
All you need to do is upload a photo of your pet using the Have Your Say box at the bottom of this story. A snap taken on your phone is ideal. Then add in a couple of lines about your beloved beastie, mentioning its name and age and any other details such as favourite food or horrible habits. Tell us why it's the best, maddest or prettiest pet in North Queensferry.
Why not get the kids to take the pics? It could be something for them to do in the school holidays.
Once you've posted your pet, tell all your friends and get them to add a comment saying why they agree that your animal amigo is the best. We'll let the public decide the winner, so the pet with the most comments from different people by the end of the competition will win a certificate declaring it the s1northqueensferry Pet of the Year 2011.
